So what's a mailing list?

A "list" is a group of people with common interests sharing information thru email.
It is similar to a newsletter except that you send & receive information using ONE
email address(members@gothicsandiego.com), to alot of other people or subscribers.

Where/How do I sign up?

The mailing list is run by Mailman, a program run on our servers, there is no human action involved in list maintenance
other than the deletion of email accounts. Commands are sent to the program thru email, to make it do certain things.

a. To subscribe to the list go to: http://gothicsandiego.com/mailman/listinfo/members_gothicsandiego.com and follow the simple insctructions.

b. You will receive a confirmation email, which you will have to reply to. (This is to make sure you really want to join the list.)

c. You will then receive a second confirmation email stating that you have been added to the list stating somethign like this:

"Welcome to the members mailing list!

Please save this message for future reference. Thank you.

If you ever want to remove yourself from this mailing list,
you can go to the list subscription pages using a link at the bottom of the page to get there.

3. How do I get off the list or unsubscribe?

4. What do I do after I'm subscribed?

a. You can send an email to the list introducing yourself to others.
Or
b. You may read what others are posting about, for a while to see whats being talked about,
then decide to post somethign about yourself if you'd like.
By reading what's being talked about, you get an understanding of the subject matter on the list at the moment.
